The next day I woke up in a cool environment of the Entebbe city, had breakfast and later met my driver for a brief discussion about the journey we had to Murchison Falls National Park. After getting up close to the rhinos, we took some photographs and videos for remembrance and later proceed to Masindi town where we had our an enroute lunch from Masindi hotel one of the historical hotels in Masindi district.
Upon arrival in Murchison Falls National Park, we visited the top of falls and got a chance of sight-seeing the lush vegetation of the Karuma wildlife reserve and also its breathtaking views. The sounds from the falls really show the liveliness of the nature. After taking some photos, I showed people back home, we proceeded to Karuma town where we enjoyed a road trip while learning about the culture of local people leaving around Karuma area. Later checked-in at Nile Safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

The next morning after having breakfast, we proceeded to park’s headquarters for briefing on rules, regulations and guidelines of conducting chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After being grouped into groups of 6 members and when the allocation of the families is done, we entered the jungle to start searching for chimpanzees and this took about 4 hours before finding these creatures.
After finding them, we stayed in the forest 1 hour together with these giants in the natural habitat while watching them feeding the young ones and we also took some photos and videos for remembrance. Apart from chimpanzees, we also got a chance of seeing other wildlife and primates like bush pig, elephants, blue monkeys, baboons among others, bird species and ever green savannah vegetation of Kibale National Park. I enjoyed a boat ride on the lake and explored some small islands such as the Akampene island where unmarried pregnant girls were left to die of hunger taking it as an example to other young girls. Each island on this lake is like a little paradise with sandy beaches and lush vegetation. Lake Bunyonyi has cool water good swimming to those interested.
After a long day of swimming and boat riding, I checked-in at a charming Arcadia lodge for dinner and sleepover. The lodge has cozy cottages with beautiful views of the lake. The staff at the lodge is very friendly and welcoming.
